Sri Kalika Devi Ammavaru
The Temple is dedicated to “Sri Kalika Devi Ammavaru” located at regimental bazar, near secunderabad railway station, was Constructed during 1845 (crica) by Late Shri Kasala Brahmaiah (Sabha Pathi) under the then Nizam Government; & has been continuously served by the Family members of the Kasala Dynasty
Temple Speciality:
The Goddess is very Soft and is the blesses of any requests being made;
The temple is one of its kind (Unique), where Lord Siva along with Lord Hanuman is directly placed opposite of Goddess Kalika Devi
The Ratham (Chariot) that is used to Parade / procession of the goddess during Navaratri Festival is the Second Biggest in Twin cities (Hyderabad & Secunderabad) (need references to current date)
The lion on which the Goddess is paraded is made of pure brass (1.5 Ton circa)
The Grand Rathosthavam Ammavari procession would be from Temple to Tank bund and back to Temple – the Chariot is drawn by Human power only
Previously – Discourse’s (Like – Hari Katha, Burra Katha, Bhajans) used to be performed on a grand scale (ranging from few days to Mandalam long activities)

Last 3 Days – Goddess Parvathi Pooja along with Mahar Navami (9th Day celebration) Homam
On the Final 10th Day Dussehra – Special Poojas are performed along with Ratha Yatra
